Rita Carmichael
Nutritional Therapist, BA Hons, DipION, FdSc, MBANT
Rita is a nutritional therapist. Her role in The Well Room is to work with companies to help staff to take control of their health. She finds that staff are very keen to learn how better nutrition can make a difference to how they feel physically and mentally. By offering practical guidance on how to eat well, Rita has helped individuals on sick leave to overcome chronic health problems and return to work. Employers who incorporate nutrition into their wellbeing services welcome the chance to motivate staff and reduce absenteeism. Before training at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, she was a senior manager in the IT industry. Rita runs a successful nutritional therapy practice in Nottingham. |
